Electronics & Power / Flint, Texas

See the water.
Power your day.

The right view. The right control. A power system planned around the way you fish.

From a first graph upgrade to a fully equipped tournament boat, Whistler Marine Center brings electronics, trolling motors, and lithium power into one conversation. Work with Andrew Whistler and the team in Flint to plan what belongs on your boat, how it fits, and what it needs to run.

Marine electronics / Graphs / GPS

Your next advantage
starts with the view.

Bigger is not the only decision. Think about mapping, sonar, screen location, and what can work with your current equipment. Whistler helps you compare the options before you commit to the installation.

Garmin

Mapping, fishfinding & LiveScope

Explore a Garmin setup built around the views you use most. Considering LiveScope? Start with a compatible display, the required sonar components, and a mounting arrangement that makes sense for your boat.

Humminbird

Imaging, mapping & MEGA Live

Build the picture around your fishing. Discuss Humminbird displays, imaging, and MEGA Live options, then confirm which model generations, connections, and accessories belong in the same setup.

Lowrance

Chartplotters, sonar & ActiveTarget

Compare Lowrance options for the console, the bow, or both. An ActiveTarget live-sonar upgrade starts with checking your display, sonar hardware, network connections, and the way you want to fish.

Product availability and compatibility vary by model and generation. Confirm the exact equipment and installation scope with Whistler before purchasing. Equipment from different brands does not automatically share sonar or network features.

Forward-facing sonar

Look ahead.
Understand more.

See fish and structure in real time with a compatible live-sonar system. Make the installation part of the plan, not an afterthought.

Whistler helps you work through display position, transducer mounting, cable routing, and power requirements. Talk about how you cast, where you stand, and whether a trolling-motor mount or a separate pole better fits your fishing.

A view you can use

Discuss screen height, viewing angle, and room to work on the deck.

A mount that fits

Consider transducer movement, stowing clearance, and cable protection.

A complete equipment plan

Check the display, sonar components, connections, and power together.

Trolling motors & shallow-water anchors

Find your water.
Control your position.

Minn Kota trolling motors

Match your trolling motor to your boat, fishing style, and electrical system. Talk through thrust, shaft length, steering preferences, and available positioning features before choosing a model.

Whistler handles trolling-motor installation and service. Make bow clearance, battery requirements, and any supported electronics connections part of the same conversation.

Power-Pole shallow-water anchors

Fishing shallow cover calls for a different kind of boat control. Power-Pole anchors are designed to hold position in shallow water so you can concentrate on the water in front of you.

Ask Whistler about an installation suited to your hull. Review the anchor model, mounting hardware, transom space, and control placement before deciding on your setup.

Ask about anchor rigging →

Lithium batteries & marine charging

Don't just add equipment.
Plan the power behind it.

Your graphs, sonar, trolling motor, and boat systems all place demands on the power supply. Whistler helps you look at the complete setup, including PowerHouse Lithium options and compatible charging equipment.

Match the demand.

Start with the equipment you run and the way you spend a fishing day. Discuss battery capacity, system voltage, available space, and room for future upgrades.

Match the charger.

A battery upgrade deserves a charging review. Confirm the charger model, charging profile, bank arrangement, and battery manufacturer's requirements before reusing existing equipment.

Plan for starting.

Trolling-motor power and outboard starting have different requirements. Any change to your starting battery needs to meet the outboard manufacturer's specifications.

Lithium is not automatically a drop-in replacement. Battery, charger, engine, and equipment compatibility must be checked for your specific boat. Runtime depends on capacity, equipment draw, conditions, and use; no all-day runtime is guaranteed.

The work behind the screen

Clean on the deck.
Thought through underneath.

Andrew's electronics and rigging background is part of what makes Whistler different. A good installation conversation goes beyond where the new screen will sit. It includes how the equipment connects, how it gets power, and how it can be reached for future service.

Layout & accessPlan mounts and component locations around fishing space, clearances, and service access.
Wiring & power deliveryReview cable routing, connections, and circuit protection for the equipment being installed.
Compatibility & connectionsCheck exact model numbers and supported networking rather than assuming everything will connect.

Before you order the next upgrade

A few good questions.
A better starting point.

Bring your current equipment list and your wish list. You do not have to replace everything to start a conversation.

Can I keep my current graphs?

Possibly. Share the exact models and what you want to add. Display generation, software, connections, and sonar compatibility determine which options are available.

Do I need a separate electronics battery?

Not every boat needs the same arrangement. Ask for a review of your equipment demand, existing batteries, charging, and starting requirements before adding another battery.

What if my screen keeps restarting?

Describe when it happens, which equipment is running, and what changed recently. A restart or poor sonar image is a symptom to investigate, not proof that you need a new graph.

Can I bring equipment I already purchased?

Contact Whistler first with the model numbers and included parts. Confirm installation availability, compatibility, any additional components, and applicable service terms.
